LONG TERM COURSES
Training Department conducts long term courses. Long term Training Programmes are designed in such a way that trainees acquire the knowledge and skill in a systematic manner so that on completion of training they acquire sufficient skills to operate tool room machines independently.
The Diploma in Tool & Die Making is approved by All India Council of Technical Education and is approved by Govt. of India and Govt. of West Bengal as equivalent to Diploma in Mechanical Engineering for job purposes. The present intake to the course is 100 per year.
The Department has been made equipped with imported and indigenous machines to enable trainees to have “hands on” experience which would enhance the possibility of their placement in industries. The Department has been made equipped with new software like Ansys, Unigraphics, etc., along with adequate Workstations.
